Hello, this is printz posting at the Resource wishing well!
I'd like some directions on finding a specific kind of monster. It's something like a piranha or sea snake, that bites you continuously as long as you're in water, and follows you everywhere. The monster should move so fast that it's unshootable (seriously). I'm willing to materialize my theory that blood floors in Doom damage you because they're populated by vermin, not because they're acid.
[Request] Small, fast aquatic biting monsters

There are Piranha-like enemies in Shadow Warrior. Probably the closest thing i can think of that is sprite based.

Rip Van Fish from Super Mario World.
He'll probably need rocket thrusters and a gallon of coffee, though.
There are those leeches in Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, as well, which are basically the perfect example of this (they act like a damagefloor when you go too far out into the water, basically) except for the fact that they're not sprites.

Yeah, i forgot about that one. Being such as a FPS junkie, i thought i remember that one. I always hated those things in Exhumed. Not being able to use your guns underwater made matters worse.InsaneFury wrote:How about those piranhas from PowerSlave/Exhumed?
