ZDBSP updated to version 1.12
CodeImp found a bug in ZDBSP 1.11 that would cause it to crash after he changed the way Doom Builder saves UDMF maps. This new version of ZDSBP fixes that. (Note that the currently available release version of Doom Builder 2 does not exercise this bug.)

Thanks! now people can debug their UDMF readers (and their hand written maps
) easier when DB2 writes the map element numbers as comments in the TEXTMAP lump for every structure.

When you create a text format for anything, what do you think is going to happen? There is no need to ridicule those that do... You can just choose not to support it, and all you have to say is "you're on your own."CodeImp wrote: (and their hand written maps)
That aside, I cannot see high quality maps coming out of a handwritten UDMF map, so I wouldn't even worry about it anyway.

Hmm. Not quite "hand written" I suppose, but if I want to make a map that consists pretty much of square sectors arranged in a large grid for....... secret purposes, you think I want to put together that construct in DB or use notepad and a macro program?
And it's not unreasonable to believe some people might find it useful to make a quick fix in the UDMF text instead of loading up an editor to change a sector tag.
