DRD Team Dev builds (restored)
Update 2019/Jun/15
I've rewritten some of the service scripts that push the files on the site. Everything should be working again. Please let me know if there are any problems.
====================================================
Update 2019/Jun/14
The site is undergoing changes. The host pulled out the rug right from under me so I have to recode some of the scripts in order to adapt.
I'll have it back up and running as soon as I can. Sorry. In the meantime you guys are encouraged to post builds in this topic until I get things working again.
====================================================
As many of you already know, the DRD team is now hosting the Dev builds for ZDoom, GZDoom, and the ACC builds.
The current link to the builds is http://devbuilds.drdteam.org/
I would highly encourage the ZDoom community to build these Dev files yourselves as well, if you can, and upload them to your webspace, that way if ours ever goes out, other people can access yours. Additionally, if anyone wants to contribute and help keep the files up to date, send me a PM.

Hopefully Randy sees this thread then, as nobody else can sticky I don't think.

Re: DRD Team SVN builds
I haven't been able to access the DRD forums since about 5-6 hours ago. Nor have I been able to get ftp access to the new ftp site for uploading builds ("authentication failed"), although I can get ftp access for the old one. I've got a copy of r1230 sitting here just begging to be uploaded.

Re: DRD Team SVN builds
Really, Enjay? I just backed up the entire SVN archive from the old site and as we speak it's being transferred to the new one. r1230 should be there ASAP.
As far as the access to the website itself goes, I am aware of this issue.

Re: DRD Team SVN builds
OK Zdoom r1230 successfully uploaded.
Still no access to the forum (I just get the generic ie "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"), but it looks like that's something your ISP is working on so I guess I'll just have to wait.
Is anyone else having difficulty getting on to the DRD forum ATM?
Forget that, it just sparked into life.
[edit] and then died again. [/edit]

Try not to breathe on it... I think it's sensitive to wind.

Re: DRD Team SVN builds
Very VERY remote.
Linux comes with some of the tools you need to make the SVN versions preinstalled, though. It's not that hard.

Re: DRD Team SVN builds
Could it be possible for the directory listing to be sorted? It'd make finding the most recent version more straightforward if it was always at the top (or the bottom, either way) than if you have to scan all the available choices.

Re: DRD Team SVN builds
It was sorted before the move. I've been meaning to "touch" the files to the appropriate dates but haven't had the time. The default sorting method is descending by modified date, but it can be changed by clicking on the top of the listing.
The reason why I have it sorted that way is to completely avoid figure errors with version updates. (i.e. r999 would appear at the top of the list, with r1000 being waaaaay on the bottom). But it only works if the files are properly dated.
Right now, all the newest files should appear at the top anyhow. I think there's been SVN commits on all 3 of the main trees (besides ACC) since the move.
EDIT: I was wrong. GZDoom was not updated. But that doesn't matter, I'm just overwriting it now with a new one, it should fix the date on that one.

Re: DRD Team SVN builds
Just pad with zeros to get a r00000999 and r00001000. You should be safe for a while then.

Re: DRD Team SVN builds
Out of curiousity (since my SVN skills are full suck ) I can just download these files manually in Firefox, can't I?

I don't see why not.Ceeb wrote:I can just download these files manually in Firefox, can't I?
As for the number padding - The compiled programs don't use them, so I don't think the file names should either. Let's face it, there has to be 820 more GZdoom revisions and 8752 more GZdoom revisions before the extra digit causes a problem anyway. Millennium bug anyone?
