Hi folks,
Haven't played DOOM since the late 90s, but in testing with the latest 4.12.2 build of GZDoom, using the DOOM (1993) files from Steam, I'm encountering a weird issue with missing/black textures at certain camera angles at high FOV.
In E1M1 at all default settings on a freshly unzipped build of 4.12.2, when looking either up or down further than about a 33 degree angle from centred point of view, using a FOV higher than 116.5, textures will glitch out and either turn black or become invisible/transparent, returning to view when looking either further up/down again or when moving camera back towards centre. This 'problem zone' starts at a relatively narrow band at FOV 116.6, and gets larger with higher FOVs.

Underlying system is Win 11 (latest 22631 build), Ryzen 7950X, 64GB DDR5, RTX4090 (latest 555.99 drivers), resolution is 7,680 x 1,440. Can provide other systems specs if desired/helpful.
If anyone has any advice/insights to share as to system-specific problems that might be causing this, I'd appreciate any pointers, or confirmation that this does indeed seem to be a GZDoom issue
4.12.2 - Black/missing textures at FOV >116.5

Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!
If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.
We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

Re: 4.12.2 - Black/missing textures at FOV >116.5
You might be approaching the whole "don't do that" mentality. Seems like some sort of BSP / occlusion shenanigans going on that's outside of expected conditions. A developer might shed more light on this than I can.
