Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

Gzdoom 4.12.2 infinitely tall actors

Post by nekostuffing »

I'm not sure if this is a bug a new feature so ill post this here. It appears that monsters and objects are infinitely tall even tho i have this option disabled, before i could jump over or on top of monsters and objects (like stalagmites) but now if i try to jump over them or on top of them i am blocked. Was this intentional?, if so is there an option to disable it?.

Are you playing a mod where that feature is forced, by any chance? I know that you can force some stuff through MAPINFO.

I was playing a map pack called corruption, im guessing the wad forces that feature. I've played a lot of map packs, and this is the first time i've seen this happen so it caught me by surprise. I feel really dumb lol, thank you for responding to my question.
