A Dungeon Hell themed level - Escape From Hell Castle

It's the second that I publish, I'm still figuring out how to use UDB (and Doom in general) features, but I fell satisfied my the final product.
The level features two paths with a key in either path. The keys unlock the outside area of the Castle, with is guarded with a ton of demons.

Just played it this morning, it was a pretty enjoyable playthrough. The gameplay was balanced very well, better than many people new to mapping. Never felt limited on ammo, and not too much either, and the monster difficulty was perfect. The end of the level was more challenging than the rest, as I'm sure it was intended, and that felt balanced well too. I love how you can also see out the window at the beginning, so you know what you're about to get yourself into.

The design of the level is pretty standard, a bit more texture variety would be nice to have (GSTONE is used more than desirable), and some of the enlarged and shrunk walls and flats feel a bit out of place (Mostly the one door before the baron guarding the blue key). In the outside area, the rocky floor and walls are the exact same texture, which made it difficult to tell there was a gap that led me plummeting into the lava. Another teleport pad on the opposite side of the river would've been handy too.

My final thought is that on the one part of the level where the floor lowers on the path to the red key, it would be better to trigger the floor lowering when you step on it, rather than a switch. Otherwise, I was able to cheese it pretty easily by hovering over everyone (and I still got the secret too).

Most important aspect is how the level plays though, and that was the biggest strength here. A solid 8/10. 8-)

i like how this is very influenced on plutonia/scythe-esque gameplay, definitely a worth the try.
