[Raze 1.5.0] RR: Bubba dies instead of Exit
If you shoot bubba, but don't kill him, there's a chance that his health will be low enough that a hit with a crowbar kills him instead of exiting the level. If you shoot him by accident, and then save (totally possible in several maps where he is at a distance) there is no way to exit the level anymore, forcing a restart.

You are not supposed to shoot him. You are only supposed to hit him with the crowbar. Yes, if you kill him, you die as well - that's by design. Whether it is good design I leave open to question, but this is how the game was made.

Most of the time if you shoot him, he dies. But if he gits hit by a single hitscan from a shotgun from a distance, for example, he survives and the crowbar kills him instead of exits. I think the death frames are overriding whatever would cause the level exit.
One example where this can happen easily is RR: E2L4 (the ruins). This is the glitched map, but bubba is out in the open and in your line of fire when you open the door. If he catches some crossfire you may not be aware since you don't get to him for a while. Also if your map glitched there's more chance you caught him trying to figure out how to fix it. Then you figure out the window jump and you have a bubba that can't exit.
The uranium mines have a similar issue. He is in the line of fire of the first few monsters. You won't know if you hit him until you finish the level.

Here's a RR-RA savegame reproducing the issue. I can get it to work reliably in RR-RA e1l6, but I'm having trouble reproducing it in RR e1l1. So it may be level specific. Happens in both 1.5.0 and 1.6pre.

bubbatest_2_1 is him without any damage.
bubbatest_2_2 is him after taking 4 shotgun hitscans. If you crowbar him it kills him instead of exiting.
There is a related existing bug that I thought I saw reported elsewhere. If you save just before a level end, activate the level end, then reload that save, the level end trigger will no longer work.
Quitting the game and restarting it resets the level end trigger so you can continue that way.
I can reproduce this in every level I've tried. I don't think that is related because with this bubba glitch I've tried restarting. Happens in both 1.5.0 and 1.6pre.
Sidenote:
Between 1.5.0 and the nightly build, the save location is different. In the latest release it is in the save folder next to the executable. With latest dev build on windows it is in C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\Raze
This is probably a great pattern going forward, but that explains why my old saves weren't being seen to try to reproduce this faster. Doh!
