From GZDB To Models - A Guide

Post by Major Cooke »

People have been asking me... How the Hell did you manage to turn this into a map object!?

Well, here's a guide! But it only covers the steps I took, not really much of the process. You'll need to know how to use GZDB, Blender and how to implement models in GZDoom itself.

One thing I'll note though, I chose a scale of 0.1 for GZDB because it ensures I don't have to scale anything down, so setting a scale of 10 in the modeldefs is expected.
