[WIP] Last night at Freddy's

Post by AlphaEnt »

Hello, i'm Blorc (also known as AlphaEnt) and this is the first mod I dare to post on this forum, hehe =P

So, what is it?
Well, it's basically a Doom mod that attempts to recreate some of the features from FNAF2 game.
Can be played with any Iwad, altough, Freedoom is recommended ;)

So... What did you do on this mod? (Updated 21-05-15)
Well, you can check inside the spoilers for more info, or wait until I release the mod =P
Spoiler: Added features (Updated 21-05-15)
Spoiler: Additional features
Spoiler: Incomplete features (Updated 21-05-15)

Hmm, what do I need to run this mod?
as far as i know, that should do it:
[*]A copy of Freedoom or Doom 2.
[*]GZDoom 1.8.02 or ZDoom 2.7.1 (Maybe it can run on older versions but I suggest the last ones)

And now, some in-game screenshots and a video ;) (Video Updated 09-05-15)
Spoiler: In-game screenshots
Spoiler: In progress video (Updated 09-05-15)

Estimated release date: Well, by the moment I don't have a real release date (Probably on May 2016), however, I've released a demo to your enjoyment...
(Check the link above)

Special thanks to:
[*]Doomero: which teached me a lot about Doom modding the past 7 years...
[*]Camaleón Maligno: which sent me a template for the mouse script (taken from Shotgun frenzy according to his words)
[*]Cocka and TheMightyHeracross: For for solving some of my question on the "How do I..." Thread
[*]ZeylHunter: "Accidentally" helped me to recreate a desired bug, while he sent me a wad to fix that bug XD
[*]More detailed info on "Credits.txt"

This is neat and all, but what does it have over the actually FNAF2?

Impressive clone but it'd be cool if you threw in a Doom monster somewhere like the Baron of Hell or the Cyberdemon or something. XD

Hehe, Thank you! ;)

Well, the main idea is to keep it close to the original FNAF2. That being said, there are some options to customize your experience when you play.
Such as optional camera static, new ambience sounds, custom jumpscare sound, among others...

I'm thinking about it... Also, answered your question in the video comment

"A game worth playing is a game worth buying." A quote I enjoy very much, despite it appearing in a cracktro from an Amiga game.

Hehe, i've added a similar sentence in the game intro. It's not the same but at least, it's something.
