I took some time off from DooM Mapping to work on this game, It was a lot of fun making the engine and game proper. It is made with Game Maker 8 and is inspired by old school arcade shooters.

Do Gamemaker games screw with Chrome/are inherently glitched somehow? If so, how?

just go to google chrome's to the downloads tab, and recover the file.

I want to know the same thing. It's either frequent on-again-off-again of either clueless posting or passive-aggressive/angry posting. (I'm at least partly guilty of the latter at times and I apologize.)

What hostility? I'm certainly giving GameMaker a hard time, but that doesn't strike me as hostility.

I want to help. but I don't know what is going on, if it's an OS compatibility issue then I'll do what ever I can to fix it.
