Haze's Dark Forces Mod.

This mod contains weapons and some enemies from Star Wars: Dark Forces, it is NOT a 1:1 recreation.
1.-Punch: Basic punching.
2.-Bryar Blaster Pistol: Kyle's custom pistol.
3.-E-11 Blaster Rifle: A rapid fire weapon with two firing modes, standard and full power.
4.-Thermal Detonator: A throwing weapon akin to grenades.
5.-Imperial Repeater Rifle: Rapid fire weapon faster than the E-11, can do single shot or tri-shot.
6.-Fusion Cutter Tool: A mining tool, primary shoots each barrel towards the crosshair one at a time, secondary shoots the four barrels but doesn't center the shots.
7.-Trip Mine: Leave it on the floor, draw attention, and those dumb imperials will step on it, technology makes it so that you can't trip them.
8.-Mortar Cannon: Shoots an explosive shell, acts similar to a grenade but travels faster.
9.-Concussion Rifle: Fires a small projectile with a majestic explosion.
0.-Darktrooper Assault Cannon: Primary is an Energy rapid fire gun, secondary is a rocket launcher.

IMPORTANT: This is not a 1:1 conversion, but i wanna keep mechanics close to Dark Forces, i recommend checking this one, which may also not be entirely close, but it's good, and CeeJay's for 3DGE, which is the most faithful one i know.

Some enemies:
Imperial Officer: These guys rant about you violating imperial laws.
Imperial Stormtrooper: Now lore-friendly, they suck at aiming, where did Jango's genes go?.
Imperial Commando: Screw armor, these guys just use a helmet pretending to be Darth Vader.
Interrogation Drone: Flying thing that will either take your bullets unnecessarily, or stomp your dreams.
Probe Droid: Nasty flying thing that replaces the Pain Elemental.

Hey another strife mod! Looks good, but you should probably make the weapons switch faster.

That's on the list, i'll just spam A_Lower/Raise if i can't make them switch like in Dark Forces.

You can make weapon raising/lowering instant, and then use Offsets to mimic the animation.

Uploaded a new version:
-Added Dark Forces-style select, couldn't do this for deselect, but they're fast.
-Added armor pickups (White Trooper Helmet/Armor and Blue Trooper Helmet/Armor)
-Added bacta cans (Single, double and triple, these may become holdable instead of auto use)
-Tweaked accuracy of enemies, now StormTroopers are more Lore Friendly :p.
-Fixed an issue with the Mine using the Thermal Det. sprite.

Uploaded a new version:
-Added a map, it was painful to do and i'm not completely happy in how it all turned out, so it might get removed in later versions.
-Fixed the tag of the mine weapon, it was previously "Thermal Detonator", changed to "Mine".
-Changed some small things that i cannot remember.
-Made the Interrogation Drone stronger.

The original Dark Forces didn't have a lightsaber, it was introduced to the series with Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. Haze wants to keep it close to the original's mechanics and weapons as he said, so unless it becomes a chainsaw replacement, I'd take a gander and say there's probably not going to be one unless Haze really wanted to bother.

I could introduce it as a cheat weapon "for the lulz", but i would have to find suitable sprites for that.

I like it so far, we can always use more Star Wars stuff. The bacta pickups in particular look really cool. If you're able to you should replace more sounds, like the player sounds with Kyle Katarn's, etc. It might help to add some sort of indicator for reloads as well, either by making them manual or adding an ammo count for what's in the weapon.

I second adding a lightsaber if possible, it'd be a cool little easter egg weapon or something if you're able to make it work, though I understand if you're trying to stick to Dark Forces 1.

Uploaded a new version:
-Added the Probe Droid, can be a little nasty, it's gonna become nastier for the next updates.
-Probe Droid and Interrogation Drone shouldn't bleed or cast blood decals, and now make noises.
-Added a Titlemap.
-Changed the textures and added small things to the first map.
-Small changes that i can't recall.

Goals for next version:
-Fix any bugs encountered in the way.
-Make better death animations (Funny to see a trooper step on a mine only to see him flying for a bit and bleeding power ranges electroblood)

I found an old Star Wars TC that had some cool looking maps, kinda rough and what not but i managed to re-texture, move linedefs and stuff around and add more detail, the maps in the TC are credited to Matt Falk (First four maps) and Garrett Granger (The rest 5), if anyone knows these people and how to contact them, i'd like to ask proper permission to use their maps.
