[sprites] Monster Idle State
Seeing as the Doom monsters don't have a true idle state (they do that weird slow tap-dancing thing) I thought it would be nice to sprite idle states.
Here's the Baron, I'll post more as I make them

I think he needs to lean back to the wall. Or a pose more similar to BOSSA1 (at ease). The rotation 3 in the picture above looks uncomfortable.

Ah yeah, I see what you mean. I originally thought the Baron and Imp were naturally hunched over like that, but now I see it's probably just becuase they are walking forward that they lean like that. Also not sure what to do with the Baron's goat legs, I don't see how they would be when standing at rest - bent like they are now, straightened out or folded down completely?

I think the legs look alright, but the torso leaning forward should be fixed.

Anyway, here's the Mancubus
Edit: And Pain Elemental, this took seconds
Cacodemon and Lostsoul will not require new idle sprites.

Looking good. You could make the thighs thicker on the front rotation, though.

Looks cool.

But... but... Well, I guess he is a "Baron" of Hell, not a "Queen"...CaptainToenail wrote:I think there are some things best left alone![]()

Re: [sprites] Monster Idle State
I have to say, if you really want to have idle states, why not try short little looping animations, like breathing or what have you? Single frames are kinda boring.
