I'm speechless. If there wouldn't be these Doom Pickups, I would never have noticed this is even Doom. :P And the skies are just beautiful. My effects are nothing against that :P

These are all words that describe those two maps Tormentor. And thanks for thinking about posting a thread about your maps here! I never really thought about making a SMII thread here...I may still.

I know the sky from sapphire.wad is from The Wadfather. I don't think I've seen that one there though.

Exactly, created on my own in Photoshop and it is no Wadfather style 360° skybox, it's a standard Doom skybox with some animated effects. I just can't wait for the release of SMII so you actually see hpow this looks like :) And thx to all of you for your kind words :)

O_O If this forum wasn't for doom then I would think this is for UT. Great job. Very high detailed maps, nice sky, everything looks perfect.

Wtf screens don't show up well doesn't matter I've seen them yesterday and they look nice as usual, looks like you are pretty active with mapping lately.

in the last shot those standard t667 ceiling light gradients combined with architecture look like rockets.

otherwise it doesn't look like crap.
