I put it in for laughs. Had been kind of wondering why no one had brought that up. It doesn't have any connection with the project whatsoever.

Ah right. I was thinking maybe it was an easter egg, or somesuch! So, is there any kind of prize for finding it? (nudge, wink, HINT?) In all seriousness, its all looking really well mate. Really enjoyed the first Titan, and most definitely looking forward to the second! :)

I'll admit that I don't notice much more than an over-all gist when confronted with banks of screenshots, so I probably just glossed right over it.

However, I'm still quite looking forwards to this project, just because I enjoyed the previous Titan.

I just finished testing the secret level and am really happy with how it turned out. Likely I'll finish map 4 as well tonight. Still haven't tested map 8 thoroughly enough. It's rather large and thus takes a while to test, so I have been a bit lazy with my testing there.

Glad to have your support guys. I'll be so glad when I can shove this sucker out the door :)

Well, now I have to come up with something that equals the final map of Titan in epicness, which is easier said than done, to be honest... I have a few ideas I'll have to think on to figure out how exactly and whether they would work out nicely. The way I came up with the whole pyramid thing was after seeing some concept art for the Alien vs Predator movie where some predators were standing on top of some Mayan or Aztec pyramid while the aliens were swarming all over it. I don't have the luxury of such inspiration this time around (at least not yet).

I've gotten into the final map with an idea that works, at last. It won't be anything as massive as it was in Titan, but I think it'll be pretty tight, and I've found an appropriate boss monster for the climax of Titan 2.

I have a question for you clever folks. I'm using several monsters from The Beastiary, but I have no idea who made the indivual monster sprites or decorates, so I don't know who to credit. Do I simply credit "The Beastiary" or can I find the a list of those involved with the individual monsters somewhere?

On another note, I've done a title map for Titan 2... only thing I'm missing are some creaking steel / structure sounds. In addition I've finished testing on my own and am looking for others to test the project for me. I'll probably upload a beta version somewhere tomorrow. What's a good file hosting service that's free and not shit? I've seen RapidShare used frequently.

in the beastiary below each monster is an authors and credits button, just click it and boom you see the credits

and as for file sharing sites, it depends since everyone has their poison...

sendspace usually works for me as well as zshare

And you can also use MediaFire, if your wad isn't bigger than 100 mb.

I must have been blind. I've been looking over the Beastiary for quite a while looking for just that, but somehow managed to miss it.

I've uploaded the BETA version of Titan 2 to MediaFire. You can download it from the link below.
[EDIT: Link removed - version outdated.]

Please remember that this is a BETA version. I ask that you do not upload it elsewhere, and keep in mind that the purpose of the BETA release is to test Titan 2 and give feedback in this thread on which things are shit and which things aren't, so I can improve Titan 2 for the release version.

Please refer to the .TXT file for a guide to the difficulty settings before you start playing.
