now that's the outlawstic! also i just found something nice sprite that can replace the outlaw's gatling gun. it's a freedoom's chaingun. and some qualitiful 3d model gatling gun.
i mean this. not so perpect but that was the only one thing what else i can found.

the problem is scaling and muzzle rotation. please say yes if you're intrested.

EDIT: well, that's a lot's of bloods. i mean they are splatting ripped ribcages and dies. pretty ludicrous gib-ish. why don't you replace that ripcage like bloodsheds?
more like classic blood stains from doom. also casing effects should be awesome though. play goldeneye doom mod for example. and you can rip those casing scripts if you can either.

hmm, if i can add more advice, the chicken after hit, it should be run more faster. least it has a wings.

The angle and perspective is kind of wrong, don't know how well it would work as a first-person HUD weapon in-game. But maybe with a lot of editing and improvement it could work.

As for the gibs, yeah it will stay but receive a change graphics-wise.

The chickens already runt faster when they get hit, their "flap" states as I call it. The way they move is rather special and difficult to work with. They don't actually "walk", their frames move the object in a random pattern. This is done to avoid them running after the player all the time which, believe me, gets irritating real fast.

well, here it is. the fast twiched gatling gun. anyway i'm pretty smell this sprite is unfinished. but hey, original western gatling gun was clean and out of accessories too.

i did best else what i can to come up with. this sprites just take my 6 hours. otherwise, my weekend is wasted.

anyway may i add the levers too? outlaw's gatling gun was too big to add that lever i think.

credits to eriance's gatling gun and muzzle flash, wildweasel's NMN's extended smg magazine, data east's boogie wing's part of the score hud, blazkowicz's maxim like chaingun.

Freaking awesome!

The lever part is up to you, it would be quite a lot of work since having a level would require a hand as well as a cranking animation.

EDIT

I've added it to the game a coded it. I changed the muzzle flash to match the other weapons but otherwise made no change to it. I tried to upload a copy for you but mediafire is being a bitch at the moment, i'll try again later. Anyways, it turned good actually but the clip is a problem. It so freaking big/tall that when the weapon is selected the clip part just magically appears and it obstructs part of the world view.

here ya go. rever animations and added few decorations.

i hope you can re-edit those nicely. anyway about clip problem, what i supports to do? that clip must be on the top for feed the ammo for gatling gun.
well, reloading animation maybe?
