Pretty impressive. :) (Plus I've always liked that rifle for some reason.)

@Sergeant_Mark_IV: The weapon is nice. Monster also has some stray cyan pixels in it's horns (near the tips), which will appear as holes in the sprite in game (something similar on it's shoulders too). Fix that and the wiggly horns and make sure to keep the art style consistent throughout all the sprites and that'll be cool :)

I like that demon-thingy. I notice that, as well as having wiggly horns, the amount of blood on its hands varies. When the arms are back (ie away from the camera) they have more blood on them than when they are forward.

That monster's a bit sloppily done (e.g. the wiggly horns and moving blood) but as a concept it is awesome. It's like a huge, roid-raging pinky demon. I can just imagine that thing barreling down a narrow corridor at me (with stomp sounds+effects) as I frantically empty my chaingun into it in a vain attempt to slow it down. That thing is not going to be stopped by something like a "pain state". It's beefy, pissed off, and flat-out charging your ass down; just look at the length of its strides. Like a boulder with legs. And fangs.

I was looking for bow sprites, and I found these from Daggerfall:
Spoiler:
But I noticed some sprites were missing, e.g. the sprite where you shoot the arrow. So I created them on my own.:
Spoiler:
Then again, I noticed these sprites did not support wide-screen. That filled me with anger and I had to recreate ALL sprites on my own, so here are the enhanced bow sprites from Daggerfall: :D

Donald, those fit very well for Hexen! I wish that someone ripped more sprites out of Arena/DaggerFall.

Bow looks good but shouldn't it be a little more curved? Yours is too straight and stiff IMO.

Nice. Though the set could use a few more frames to make it a little smoother. In-between the second and third sprites.

Not all bows are the same.

Macromedia Fireworks. Pure hand drawing.

I have been testing my skills with more from scratch drawing, and I did this shotgun. What you think, guys?

the df bow rip that's going around is incomplete due to limitations of the first Daggerfall imaging program. DF Imaging 2 can rip all the frames just fine:

There is something about that tall tree (and maybe the middle one too), that seems to have some kind of optical illusion going on. To me it looks like it is leaning to the left quite a bit. If I examine it closely in a paint program it seems to be pretty vertical but even knowing that, I can't force myself to see it straight up and down. :?
