I only learned weapon limits on modding in my last work, Training Drill (It's posted on itch.io, btw).
This was a thing i wanted to do with Aracnocide for years. But doing it now would just be a too late adjustment that would bloat the code, unfortunately.
The weapon effects are also something i deeply regret not thinking it forward; in the beginning i wanted only pistols and revolvers to have it, as a way to make them stand out in the ocean of weapons you have at your disposal. But then i went with the Shotgun knockback and everything went downhill.
But then again, i think it's a good twist. The mod had distinct characters, but some weapons felt the same.
Oh, also:As of nowadays, i'm pretty much retired from modding. 10 years and 31 projects have taken the toll. I'll never say never, but i also don't feel like coming back so soon.If you ever come back to updating this mod
