I've tested the above maps in question with Johnny's Brutal Doom, regarding Romero's head. Icon of Sin is fine, but I'm getting the screaming Romero there as well, in addition to the health loss in increments as mentioned by Neccronixis.

I've also reported the Sidekick bug to the regular Trailblazer thread as the bug appears there too.

FINALLY, someone decides to do this! :D

Could you make a version that's compatible with the latest version of Trailblazer (v1.2c)?

Next up, Brutal Guncaster! PLEASE! :D

Yeah, i'll update it to TB 1.2c, when Serg complete BD v20.
About Guncaster... I already done part of this, but it works very very badly (Corpse explosion didn't work, for perhaps). And i think, that Guncaster doesn't need to be Brutalized. ANd also, i don't think, that "Pillow and the crew" accept me to do this.

If you use Brutal Doom Lite, I think most of the work will be done. I believe many projectiles in Guncaster have NOBOSSRIP flags, which somehow are triggered in Brutal Doom, as Cauterizer blasts and Old Dreadful blasts explode on them on impact, and Hitchcock's Birds just crashes into them without circling around them to deal damage. Also, there's the fact that some of the sprite frames need to be synced, when it comes to Gumpop fatalities, and of course, monsters don't drop money. I think the hardest thing here would be getting Gumpop to work properly...

The most recent version is of Brutal Doom v19. I suggest using that, as the betas you base your mod off of are incomplete, and Brutal Doom v19 is pretty reliable. Plus, I believe PB is alright with people coming up with stuff for Guncaster, such as mods like these, as long as they're not simple cheap knockoffs (such as the infamous "Hardcore Doom Wars").

Lemme just nib this in the bud, as you seem to forgot about my earlier outburst here already, unless it somehow passed over your head, which I can hardly believe, considering I feel like being stalked. I am not opposed to Brutal Doom nor Sarge - thanks to him I have the gore bits in my mod after all. All I want is instead of assuming that I am okay with that, I'd like to be asked first, not expect that I am going to comply with everything, just because I have a nature that dictates to avoid conflict at all costs, even if that means feeling bad that I didn't stand against something I didn't feel right with. And I have a strange feeling that you try to act in my name. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this really starts to offput me. :|

I remember your words here, and if i want to make something with your mods - i'm ask you first of all. But now, i'm NOT going to do something with your and your team content, so asking for permission is not necessary right now, right?
And about Guncaster again: for now i don't want to make it. Guncaster - mod about mass beautiful overkill. Tons of blood and gore, i think, will spoil it. So, now i don't want to make Brutal Guncaster, even if his authors accept me to do it.

No worries, it was mostly directed to Kraken - should've quoted him. You however know already what I stand for, and you seem to be an okay dude. That of course still doesn't mean I want the brutalization to happen, but glad we've got that clear. The mod's already got it's gore, but it's a flavour in the form of a spell or two, just to make them more gruesome.

I wasn't trying to act in your name, PB. Although, I can clearly see where I said something that would imply that.

Thank you for clearing that up. :D

Actually, it's not. Look at hotfix on page 4. Link must be workable
Updated link also.

Thank you. The link on the OP was broken, though.

Welcome to the forums.

You probably ought to know, ZDoom 2.7.1 is nowhere near the latest version. Try a development version from http://devbuilds.drdteam.org/
