They are different pitches, if randomized.

Note that the gravity is identical on earth as on the Martian moons around the Anomalies. Clearly there is something causing that to happen, and it's not a huge stretch to assume that this something (which is in all likelihood magical rather than strictly physical) is going to be capable of making the area Earth-like in other respects as well.

Why it's being made Earth-like is largely up in the air, no pun intended.

In a world where walking through blood can hurt you, demons conjure up fireballs out of thin air, and pistols with infinite ammo, we discuss the possibilities of their being oxygen in hell. :P

That's not blood.
And pistols have finite ammo.
And demons have their demon powers, they use magic to create fireballs

No, there is blood that hurts you. Ever play MAP25?
Also, since he used the word conjure, he knows that they use magic.

What I meant was that the pistol never has to reload, as it can potentially shoot 400 bullets without ever having to replace the clip.

Well, we never seen the bottom of the pistol in Vanilla Doom since it's obscured by his hand, maybe he has an extremely big clip that just so happens to angle itself with his arm. :P

Well, considering how theres fire in Hell...I'd say yes. Cause logic says that Oxygen is required to start fires.

IIRC, the berserker pack has been explained as some sort of safe, non-addictive, steroid-like substance that gets one's adrenaline going. As for the health bonuses... The blood the demons drink has to go somewhere, no?

Maybe the health bonuses are made of the same thing as the vials on Moon for Nintendo DS.
