I extracted the first track from ZDCMP2; according to Jimmy, the track's called "2012". I've been listening to that song a lot. :D

@FuzzballFox: Huge thanks for linking Kavinsky there. A friend recommended him a while back but I managed to forget about it until just now because I have the memory of an anteater. Just got 1986 in my playlist and I'm enjoying the hell out of it! :D

Been listening to a lot of Marino Marini recently. He was a 1950s/early 60 Italian singer/popular musician.

Most peculiar. Unfortunately you can hear the shifting in a lot of places (especially in the voices) but it does make the song sound very different. Maybe it's because I'm a miserable git but I still prefer the original minor scale version. :P

Not really, but in my opinion, it sucks ass, and totally doesn't make me proud. (yes, I'm neapolitan myself).
