I extracted the first track from ZDCMP2; according to Jimmy, the track's called "2012". I've been listening to that song a lot.

@FuzzballFox: Huge thanks for linking Kavinsky there. A friend recommended him a while back but I managed to forget about it until just now because I have the memory of an anteater. Just got 1986 in my playlist and I'm enjoying the hell out of it!

Most peculiar. Unfortunately you can hear the shifting in a lot of places (especially in the voices) but it does make the song sound very different.
