When are you going to release a new stable version of LZDoom? I would like it to be based on version 4.14.2 of GZDoom.

Wenas. I've uploaded a .deb package for 4.11.4 but i'm still not sure it will work, it's been a bit complicated to create it.
I also uploaded some more devbuilds.
And it seems now LZDoom is official again so i'll make a 4.14.3 release after UZDoom is out, so much sooner than expected. Probably in a few weeks i think, there will be an announcement too.
Edit: sorry but i've removed the .deb for now, it was bad. I'll try to fix it later.
Edit2: i've uploaded the .deb again, now it should be good.
Edit3: it wasn't, reuploaded again with static libvpx else it worked only on debian 12 or ubuntu 22.
Edit4: still bad, reuploaded on 10/31.

Re: LZDoom 4.11.4 03/28/25 released
Thanks. Now i've uploaded XP and x64 builds of 3.88b1 to the 3.88b release, this is mainly about the double spawn fixes. Like i said i dropped XP support due to the limited 7.1A Windows SDK used in the VS 2017 xp toolset, pk3s with many files in them didn't load. Someone asked about XP on discord, more modern versions wouldn't compile for XP at all. Y wenas.

I'm surprised 3.88b1 XP runs Ashes Afterglow. I remember having issues with 4.11 regarding that.

Wenas. I've uploaded another devbuild. There some things to test, among them line distance culling with multithreading enabled by dileepvr and the dangling pointer fix for softpoly by Blzut3.

Edit: i forgot to mention you need to set r_multithreaded to true.
