I'm inclined to disagree. For one thing, it's a partial homage to Sodom's '10 Black Years' cover, which itself had all sorts of guns, grenades, and bullets tacked on everywhere. Not to mention, guns appearing on the cover that aren't in the actual game is kind of a staple of old-school FPS games. (see both Doom and Duke Nukem 3D)

Enjoying this mod a great deal, really adds a lot to the game. For me, it's the best thing to happen to Doom since GZDoom. I lurk here awaiting further developments. It's probably in a post somewhere, but do I understand the helper Marines will be optional in the next release? :D

Have the [censored word] suggestions stopped? is it safe again to talk about a potential flamethrower weapon?

Since it's a normal weapon that was actually used a lot in wars..

I feel it would really enhance the experience in Sergeant_Mark_IV's realistic city maps, laying down some sweet sweet fire,
And then pulling out the machine gun and leading them while they burn.

And, If I may quote from Wikipedia..
The flamethrower is a potent weapon with great psychological impact upon unprepared soldiers, inflicting a particularly horrific death.
This has led to some calls for the weapon to be banned.
What could be more Brutal then a Flamethrower?! :mrgreen:

I think we already had something that looks like a flamethrower, sounds like a flamethrower, throws flames like a flamethrower, and kill with flames like the flamethrower. Isn't the Mancubus Flame Cannon supposed to be a flamethrower?
