We already had that conversation a few pages back.

I don't think that what you are doing is bad or something, even though your stuff looks kind of nice, it can be interpreted as some kind of "I don't like your thing, here's my version which is far superior to yours", even though that (may) not be your orignal intent.

If you want a short version, some people think you are acting like Topper :p

Oh, come on, guys...

Blox doesn't do three-minute upscale+filter jobs. Why are you trying to discourage creativity?

Seconding that, I typically like the work Blox does, and his version of that pistol does look a little better due largely to the improvements on the glove. Honestly, I'd consider it a compliment if he took the time to play around with my edits. :D

I'm actually trying to contribute randomly, and editing other people's (albeit random) stuff is both good practice and a way to force myself into productivity.

So it has an egoistical side (see the latter reason), though it's mostly altruistic in the case that I'm actually trying to get more "decent" stuff available.
And if some asks why I wanted Enjay's .obj of that crusader(?), then it's because I just want to mess around with a nice looking robot model in ZBrush. :p

BlahBlah: I just try to improve stuff where I can because why not try when you might be able to.

I'd rather see you create your own content. You obviously have the skills to roll out your own stuff.

But yeah, anyone know where that pistol did come from? I would actually consider putting it on R667 (inb4thecommunitymaulsme) just so the sprite set is readily available.

That question was already answered in the last page; it's Demon Eclipse's pistol.

Try to find an old version of Demon Eclipse and you may get your answer, depending on how old you find.

Again, I also said that the reason I edit other people's stuff is to force myself into productivity.

Without that, I'm pretty stuck without any will to do anything, which kinda sucks overall.
I also lack creativity, which kinda really sucks for making my "very own" stuff.

Thought I recognized the shape, but who edited it into Strife's style? Gothic?

I actually do still have a version of it that old. :P

Yeah, him.

Talking about that pistol, I think I better start fixing it up. (I can see some pretty big shape issues on the pistol.)

On a lighter note, your next 2 improvements actually are improvements, what I didn't like was how dark the shading was, then you lightened it up on the 2nd one. I like that, I also like the gloves.

One thing that I still don't like is the pink top, the way you made it smooth, it resembles the tip of a penis.

Alright, just wanted to try and make it a bit like the flamethrower.

And hah, I see what you mean. :P
Dunno what to do with it though, since making it gray would make it kinda bland. (And I don't know what color strife-ish stuff could be.)

Hm?

Might be worth it to just slap the old tip on, since it generally looks OK. (It'd be the lazy solution, though. :P)
