yeah, i can see the problem, Doom assets are not used for sprites but also textures as well, it would be a huge task to detach the game from it, but in case you are a little bit invested I would say that my favourite part of the mod are the level transactions witch is rarely made well in the modding community.Amuscaria wrote: I would love to make this standalone, but I don't think it's legal for me to just copy all of Doom 2's sprites and sounds into the wad.

Replacing every doom resources into custom stuff and then uploading it would be a feasible option. But i heard that you need to pay the fee during the upload. And i also would consider upload the TC on Itch.io as well.

Honestly, wonderful TC here, like I went in loving the aesthetic and ended up amazed how great the execution of it all is. I'm still playing it after having finished it 3 times

Just came to say that I just started it and only finished 2 levels, but it's already hands-down one of the best mods I've ever played... the assets are beautiful (it's so nice when the colors don't clash like in some map packs I've played); the map architecture and flow is great; the gameplay is fast and extremely fun where even seemingly small things like vastly reducing the frame length of switching weapons makes a huge difference; and I love that even the starting weapons feel really powerful, though it makes me a little worried of the challenges that will be coming, hah. Haven't played most of the new enemies yet, but based on the screenshots, they look great too. Thanks for all the work you've put into it!

Apologies for the absence. But I found myself in an Art-Block and trying to paint a parody poster of the original Doom cover for DEPTHS (formerly Sharknadoom) and I needed to break it. Been working on painting and drawing for the past few month or so. Currently occupied by art projects. I will return to finishing this in June.
