The signup sheet is up. What day do I put you down for? That goes to everybody who offered to participate. Please let me know when to sign you up.

Thank you for the compliments! I hope it gets even better from here.

Biohazard? I've asked you before and I'll ask you again. What's a bug tracker?

Since July 5th is the only date I am sure about that I'm not going anywhere, I'll take that day.

Also, about the hellish area, would you mind it like in the original ZDCMP, with red rock and lava and normal hellish stuff?

You're both on.

Sure. Do the hell section like you want. Just remember, somehow, doomguy has to find a ship and escape from the Venus surface station, so eventually, we have to find a way to get him out.

Also, we need somebody who can put together a decent battery sprite. Mine stinks.

Is that the only day you're free? That wasn't one of the dates available for signup, but if you're unavailable all of July, me and kirby might find some way to work you in...

Hey all, I just took a quick look at the various lumps, graphics, sounds etc. in the wad. There are some duplicate lumps that probably should be fixed before they cause you some trouble. For example, there are duplicate SNDINFO, KEYCONF, SS_START, SS_END, MISFAIL, MISCODE and PEV lumps. I also see two "UNTITLED" lumps that may be empty.

There are also many lines that don't have the correct sector reference on one side or the other, but that may not show up in-game. It might result in some lighting, height or HOM problem so if you see anything like that you might check that the offending line is associated with the correct sector.

Hmmph, the wad was in such a jumbled order that I didn't bother to check lumps and all that. But after taking a look, it looks like somebody was too lazy to combine anything, since the two SNDINFO lumps actually differ from each other, and it's the same with the KEYCONF. The SS_START/END markers also have different things between them, so I'll take care of that. Since there seems to be nothing that changes between the copies of MISFAIL, MISCODE, or PEV sounds, I'll just delete one of each of those.

I can be signed up for any day from the 11th to the 14th. And if not enough people can be gotten, I can go for multiple days in there, too.

It's a thingy I wrote in PHP for KDiZD to keep track of what bugs are in the maps with descriptions and screenshots and editabillity. Ask Kirby, he's seen it. (I can't show you as it would compromise KDiZD's secrecy.)

Trust me, it's cool. It will really make an impact on final bug count and it helps keep everyone organized.

@Talonos - Basicallly, its a small web-page where you report bugs. Once you find the bug, you turn on your position with IDMYPOS, then take a screenshot. After that, you go to the site, and you make a new entry. You type in what the bug is, and you add the picture, to show what it looks like. This text and pic is then added to the page, and if people want to know what the bug is or where to find it, all they have to do is read the text and look at the pic.

Quite handy if you ask me :)

@Biff - Hmm, sounds like a big mess. I don't spose you would mind taking some time to clean it up if possible? I would really appreciate it :)

I'm glad that the light bug has been sorted. However, I'll wait a bit to see if I'm available for mapping.

Kirby - I am willing to do some cleanup work for y'all...it sounds like DomRem has some of that covered already ( the less tedious part :) ). I can make a run at cleaning up issues like unclosed sectors, incorrect sector references of some line sides, trying to be aware of anything that's a "special effect" and not an error.

Should I have a go at the file that's there today (June 28) or wait until there is another version?
