But they're so convenient!

Actually my first pair of glasses ever; when I was about 13 the optometrist scared me because my right eye needs a lot of correction, so he warned that glasses would make my face look lopsided. I went contacts instead. Finally got over that "I'll look like a fish-eyed freak" hurdle and decided to try glasses this year, and I love them.
Funny story about the cruiser, she was actually my grandparent's car first (that's where we got "Lulu" from, my grandma named her). They bought her at an auction for like $5000; someone had done all those mods then gotten the car repossessed. After we got married with no car, we were borrowing Lulu a lot, and eventually asked if we could buy her from them. They talked it over and decided to just
give her to us, for free.
She's getting old and falling apart, but the wife and I are gonna keep her as long as possible. If I had the money, I'd shell out in a heartbeat to get her fully restored, all the bodywork and paint, fix the random creaks and whines, etc. As is, we kinda just have to fix whatever breaks, which sadly is getting more and more often.

speaking of glasses, i just realized that picture i'm wearing my old set of glasses, which i exchanged for a pair of larger, rectangular-ish glasses. closest comparison to it i can say is that they're kind of like Gordon Freeman glasses, but not really. i later on bought a pair of fit-overs for my glasses, because my eyes are extremely sensitive to sun, and i hate eye-contact outside.

So long as they're not perfectly round lenses then it's fine- those are a pain in the arse to fit correctly.

I KNEW that Caligari has dark glasses, even if only outside.

I'm sure Caligari has dark glasses on the
inside too!
(the frames keep setting off the alarms at the airport)
Still trying to process the notion that Randy has just somehow revealed, with minimal prompting, evidence of meatspace persona.

I'd post one if I were better shaven, though after a disastrous move and more disastrous house situation, my razor's still packed, and I want to hack off this monstrous beard before I snap a picture.

I'll be honest: from the picture, I can't really tell if randy is a he or she.........
