To be honest, I just made a map and said it was based off something that was similar in the start and added in a few elements that made it seem like it could be based off if it. In fact, that is how all the maps I put in this project went about, except Zdoom's UAC Error Also, before anyone looks at this, I would like to say one thing: The final map is NOT meant to be a jokewad.

Neither was White Light, but somebody still said "was this meant to be a joke?" to which somebody else replied quite defensively in my favour, which surprised me.
I think I might have some hope for this project afterall. I won't divulge my scheme yet, as I'm still discussing the idea with someone, very slowly.

I don't see why anyone would think White Light was supposed to be a joke. In my opinion, it is a very good map and seemed like the exact opposite of a joke. It did inspire me with an idea also, but it's very stupid, so I'm not going to bother.

oh yeah the aeon thing? where the idea was not to make a dark doom level? that had a challenge to it, i liked it

No, my map is supposed to be a joke wad, but I don't think it really is that funny.

Fixed. Also, I'm not converting that huge level to Doom in Hexen format, expecially since zwadconv doesn't work for me.

You don't have to because zdoom will run it normally even if it isn't in Zdoom Doom in Hexen format.
[EDIT] Now you don't exit monsters in a handbasket.
