Forgot tomorrow was Memorial day and School doesn't start until Tuesday. Should be enough time to finish the death animation and final touchups for the Hellduke.

Here's what I have so far. Will be add grenade and melee attack at a later date.

Unfortunately, I'm out of time for this brief summer vacation. I was hoping to complete the next map and the Hellduke, but I guess finishing just one wasn't too bad. Definitely learned a lot in the model-to-Sprite conversion process. The Director (Mastermind replacer) should proceed much faster.

I will probably be on a 6-8 week hiatus as I finish up my degree requirements. I'll be uploading the 0.6c Alpha test later for those that want to see the re-textured levels. Aside from that, no major changes for this version. Just mostly some small bug fixes and rebalances.

SWEET HOLY HELL you progress real fast. And they're all flawless too! I wonder what death animation it'll have. Blood-splosion? Or maybe just regular death?

Think about it bursting into flames, collapsing, and leaving behind a burnt corpse. W/e i can fit into 9 frames.

EDIT: Updated alpha test to 0.6c. Try it out if you found the old maps too poo-brown.

On the bottom pain frame, which would be the 2nd rotation (G2), the blade underneath the gun appears to go missing.

It's there. It's actually underneath the barrel with a close look!

That's just forshortening in play. here's the model rip that I made the sprite from.

That's before making the sprite more squat because of Doom's tall-pixel adjustment. Which probably makes it look even shorter.

The monster looks freakin' awesome in any case. Makes me think of DOOM 64.
