It looks amazing, but I feel like the muzzle should be a bit larger.

Probably. It still weirds me out that BFG muzzleflashes don't actually come from the muzzle of the gun.

I gave the muzzle a try, plus a few other tweaks.

EDIT: I accidentally saved it as an 8 bit PNG and it got messed up, stand by for good version.

well, what a really good solution. weldone!...but too bad that sprite is kinda fuzzy to edit.

EDIT: you earned it, this bfg is done perfectly.

That's super cool! Reckon you could make it blue, though? The High Power BFGs actually shoot blue shots.

So... speaking of the HP NukeBFG9k... What is the story behind this one? I actually assembled it (On accident, no less!) Tried shooting it, makes sparks. Hold for a while, makes sparks. Hold a bit longer, figure it does nothing... and then I enter a handy resurrect code a second later, after the whole nuclear explosion business. Is that pretty much what it does, or... yeah?

EDIT: .... Ah. Nevermind, I get it now.

Is there a list of "original" assemblies/uniques? There's a bunch of weapons I can't find on the wiki (like most of the rare uniques, and some assemblies like the Heavy Shotgun.)

Find 'em out through experimentation, or by picking up automaps as the Technician with the weapon you're curious about in your hands!


you could also open the mod up and check the DECORATE file

I'm not sure what you're asking. The wiki list is the original list of assemblies/uniques.

Heres a list of original weapons that are not ingame currently.

STANDARD

Combat Knife

UNIQUE

Hell Staff
Dragonslayer
Butcher's Cleaver
Acid Spitter - If I do eventually make this, it'll be very different from the original version.
Mega Buster
Subtle Knife
Mjolnir

LEGENDARIES

Longinus Spear
Azrael's Scythe
Arena Master's Staff

ASSEMBLIES

Chainsword
Piercing Blade - I have no idea how to implement this.

EDIT: Anyone have any cool ideas for some monsters?

I've got no idea what the Nightmare Spectre, Nightmare Revenant, Nightmare Mancubus, Nightmare Archvile, Cybernetic Revenant or Cybernetic Cyberdemon should have as special abilities or attacks. I've got cool stuff for everything else, but I haven't really thought up anything cool for these ones yet.
