I found another almost completed thing, so I finished it. I always felt like the Archvile should have some more common not "Arch" variant and since I am no fan of multicolored monsters I recolored Eriance's Hellion to resemble original Archvile. Didn't tried it in game yet, maybe I will need to improve it later.

Maybe this will be useful. I started a cleaned-up version of the Hellion a long time ago, but never got to the attack animation.

Fireman axe for DooM
DooM palette, pickup sprite, hands and no hands variants
Also I hate DooMguy hands. Hate, hate, hate... They never look right.
EDIT: I am thinking about making different colored version to fit the more futuristic space base - green paint, full plastic handle and UAC logo somewhere.

nout wrong with them doomguy hands.

The right most frame isn't actually widescreen friendly, would be worth theoretically expanding it, maybe not, only a suggestion.

As I have it set up right now it is right on the edge and it's enough. But I found out that one of the frames would be better if expanded downwards. I will post complete weapon with final graphics and polished animation later.

Hi, i would like to make a small contribution to the thread.
The last Skorpion frame (the one where it angles a little more upwards) has the bolt already cocked up. As much as that can be disguised with hands, i would like to submit a small version for those who think on making a small addition to the frame, by showing it not cocked for a instant.
Anyway, hope you like it. Are these sprites free to use with credits? My weapon mod has both a Skorpion and a Fire Axe

I already have this modification inside my working file where I am working on hands and reload animations. But thanks for sharing. When I get some time I will post the complete sprite sheet with all the frames I made so far.

I maybe finished all the Fireaxe variants with enough frames to make a propper animation and large enough to work with weapon sway mod.
