Skullgirls class-based mod. A super sketchy idea, but nonetheless one that I think should be thrown out there.
And, Sylvester Stallone has the perfect Doomguy face. I nominate Stallone for Doomguy!

I thought of a mod akin to Subnautica where you're on the Doom base and you're in a room with a machine that you can use to build things from gathered materials such as armor, weapons, items, food, vehicles, etc. but there are random demons scattered all about this world so you have to be careful where you tread since you start out with basically nothing and you have to keep an eye on your health, food, water, and oxygen levels.

How about a super smash brothers mod?! Wouldn't that be sweet?! Imagine running through some levels and meleeing demons into oblivion!

That would be... interesting.
Piggy-backing off of that, maybe there can be a class-based mod between Nintendo-based Doom mods. Anyone else thinking about Metroid Dreadnought? Or that Super Mario Brothers mod?

Maybe a Mortal Kombat mod based off of Sgt. Shivers' Vile fatality.
A monster mod called Titans! All enemies are humungous and have new tricks.
A almost TC loosely based off the show Reaper. The Devil wants ya to send those escaped souls back to hell.
Class mod based on Lady from Devil May Cry 3.
So much ideas, but they might not get started until I finish the update for SOB. It's comin soon, although it won't have much progress over the last update.

Well doomero's Mortal Kombat should do it, i think.
Actually Hunter's Moon does half of your idea about the monsters being humungous (just Zombies, Imp, Vulgar, Pinky, Maggot, Wraith, Mancubus and Archvile isn't bigger than the player).
