I used to have this problem. If you maximize the window it will come up. What happens is that slumped somehow screws up its window position and size and makes it really small and appear off the the screen. To get it back on you need to right click the button on the taskbar, click move, press the "up key" and then use the mouse to get to appear on the screen.
