[Stopped for now] DN Brutal Doom Pack

With all this hubbub about a new stand alone project, maybe make a new thread for it?

Yeah, it might be good to separate them so people don't get confused and before this one gets too big to leave it.

I just would like to say that i totally and completely support the idea of a seperate pack. i've played brutal doom ever since it was first released and it has been the best mod ever devised for doom, that is for sure, but it has run its course for me. some people will chide sergeantmark, and make him out to be a monster, villifying him and his work for "changing" the face of doom; as a matter of fact he created it in the original design ideas they could not implement, but i feel that your artistic talent would be better showcased in your own original creation (although i do enjoy the pack); i will be following this eagerly.

 Look at Doom 3 and tell me if they couldn't make Doom in their own way.

Anyways. I however do support DoomNukem to make this mod into its own separate beast of its own.. Especially if he's getting help from Pillow.

What do you mean when you say 'load brutal doom first?'

How exactly do you load it first? It's drag and drop.

When you drag both files on to ZDoom.exe, drag it by Brutal Doom.

I actually have a lot of Audio Mixing experience (Going on almost 5 years actually). Sound Effects and whatnot are mostly my game; explosions, guns, etc etc. I'd love to help you out here :3. If you wish, I could compile a bunch'a sounds for like... example/portfolio work or something and PM you... or post it here. Whichever works.

hey would you mind if i edited your pistol to fit a little better with the reload animation.
also, i was thinking about reskinning it, making it a little stronger, adding a new sound and sending it out as a single shot rifle, if youre interested lemme know.

As long as it's not like that horrible thing dr.spam concocted.

I've actually stopped work on this project for another project, I dont know if the usual thing is to lock the thread or whatever.

If it's frozen, it's frozen.

What would have to happen for you to continue the project? It would be a shame not to have a release. It looks phenomenally delicious.

Personally, I would kill for the HUD he was working on, its a shame though. I loved how the new shotgun looked and how the mod was setup... I'm a bit concerned as to how his new project will turn out. because of me being me, I'm very picky of weapon behavior and animations :p

I would love to know if you wouldn't mind Sending me your Visor-hud via pm for my Personal GZDoom use.

If you hit the download link in the OP, the HUD is in there with the weapon pack. It doesn't have everything he wanted to add, but all the important stuff's there and it's pretty badass.
