Make sure you're not trying to load this mod on (G)ZDoom. This was made for 3DGE source port.

I've posted an alternative soundtrack for DOOM 2.

I will not, however, painstakingly and tediously replace DOOM/DOOM 2 textures that matches the original in the way they are used in-game. Doom has an abstract style with its levels, so replacing the textures with more realistic WWII-themed textures would just come off as weird.

Something I would love to see however is a vanilla megawad along the lines of EPIC 2 that takes a WWII/Wolf3D theme to it where you travel through castles, bunkers, villages, trenches, laboratories, etc. without replaces any enemies, weapons or items. But, it wouldn't be made by me.

I'm currently tweaking the grenade attack and I've replaced the fire death sprites with an improved set. Probably have a new version up soon.

So how far are you willing to explore away from wolf3d game play? Just curious as to what's okay to suggest.

If the scientist lost the pistol attack, using only hypos, always dropping health on death?

How about 2 types of dogs- for spectre replacement, a bigger rotwiler type of dog that knocks player back on striking? Maybe a nazi falconer for the elemental replacement- but there aren't any sprites for it.

Really enjoying this ceejay! Keep up the good work.
