Try updating your GZDoom. 1.8.02 is horribly outdated. Grab one of the 2.x builds (if your PC is OpenGL 3.x compatible) or GZDoom 1.8.10.

Is there a way to reallocate the weapons to their original PC slots? PCWEPKEY.pk3 does not seem to be working with this addon.

For once, I think I can ask this question without fear of unjustly bumping the thread, so here it goes: Is this project still active? The last update we got for this was in 2014, and Smooth Doom has been updated as recently as July of 2015. Sorry for asking the dumb question, but my curiosity is burning here.

How much has Smooth Doom been updated? has anything new been added to it?

Did you manage to do it? If not. Then I have to edit the file inside the PK3.

Ok there are now two version of Smooth-PSX-Doom. One with PSX weapon slots and the other one with PC weapon slots and don't worry I've marked which one is which
