Projects for any Doom-based engine (especially 3DGE) are perfectly acceptable here too.

Vidtuts are so useless for me that I never got far. The interface never gave me trouble, but the steps/terminology are something I just can't find good docs on.

I learn better from documentation. Not tutorials that are either talking down to me or too far over my head. :?

As do I but most of the Blender tutorials that I could find seem to be videos.

As most of the programs/games/movies/things beyond, have a wiki explaining everything about it.

i learned the most of the things of this in the wiki: http://wiki.blender.org/

this wiki is good for who makes a yaoming face when opens Blender and see that over 9000 buttons and options XD

Heh, well that would be me. I've bookmarked the Wiki (thanks) but when I went to the tutorials section all that was under each category was a thing saying External Link and (from what I can see) most, if not all of them, are video tuts.

Yeah, I make that yaoming face too in Blender then promptly go back to Misfit.

Would it be possible to position the barrels of a modeled turret(on the ceiling) at an angle corresponding to the location of the player so that the barrels are always pointing at the player?
