Heh, now a decent windows port of that would be good. Image Should be easy enough. Lucasarts (etc) are always willing to share their intellectual property.

@Xaser - Ah well. It worked for me™ Never mind. Looks like you won't have too long to wait for ZStrife. :)

I doubt it is possible but that would be really great. I never played it back when it was new...

Hmm... does this also mean that we're looking for full strife support when .64 comes out?

Mmmmmmmmmm.. Strife... I've got my Strife CD here waiting to extract the wad for ZDooM.

And as for Dark Forces, IIRC that wasn't the DooM engine, was it? I thought they'd made a new engine for it (very similiar to DooM, but not quite). If it was the DooM engine, it was fairly well modified... but my memor could be failing me after all these years.

Hey, Does anyone have a direct link to both strife demo and full version? Because Underdogs has always given me a virus somehow, so maybe a direct link will bypass the virus.

Randy, i got an idea. You can hold your own sweepstakes/contest and the winner gets a pre-release version of .64! If it was some type of competition, i would work so hard for the prize :)

Wait a minute, if this is from Randy's computer, then that must mean .64 has compiled correctly, and will be out soon, unless he removed the errornous code for the compile....

Er... he was saying "Works for me". And "Works for me" is a trademark quote.

I found the Strife demo at downloads.com, but i installed and i got STRIFE0.wad. Is this right? And does .63 have any Strife compatibility? I put strife0.wad in the folder but i couldnt get it to work with zdoom
