I COULD change the shotgun back when I next release this - an entire episode that will than go on the database... I could even remove the Overlord save for the title pic... it's up to you.

Please change it,or if you don't,give it new sounds.Also,don't remove the overlord.I love a challenge!ShadesMaster wrote: I COULD change the shotgun back when I next release this - an entire episode that will than go on the database... I don't like the general consensus that just because something was made automatically entitles everyone to use it.wildweasel wrote: Okay, you're apparently not in the credits in the first post, but at least the guy has the decency to even have a credits listing. You could have just asked him to add your name to the list instead of being rude about it.
Not even close.Trooper 077 wrote: Sarcasm, The gift that keeps on giving

esselfortium wrote:From the screenshots, this looks alright as far as texturing and detail goes, but everything you've shown so far is a small, squarish room without much visible height variation (i.e. more than just a step down, or a decorative impassible ledge) or interconnection (i.e. windows into other parts of the map).
No man, dont change the shotgun! it looks sexyShadesMaster wrote:The wonderful title screen would have been impossible without Eriance;

No it doesn't.If you want to keep that piece of crap,at least consider changing the sound so it doesn't sound like the old shotgun.legalrodrigo wrote: No man, dont change the shotgun! it looks sexy
Well, it's not for you, but sounds aren't problem for me, cause i can't use a headphone yet.KILLER2 wrote:No it doesn't.If you want to keep that piece of crap,at least consider changing the sound so it doesn't sound like the old shotgun.legalrodrigo wrote: No man, dont change the shotgun! it looks sexy
That would get my textures out of the wad but that wouldn't change anything else. Am I expected to go around and investigate everyones wads for my stuff or can I just rely on people to take credit for the things they make themselves instead of borrowing from everyone else? I didn't know making things for Doom would put that burden on me.Ghastly_dragon wrote:Then ask that it be removed.
Only you put such burden on yourself. I made a lot of different sprites for DooM and HeXen and even if I am glad that I get credited I dont care if I dont. The fact itself that its used is usually enough for me. And its because I make stuff to be used, not to get some false fame for modding 17 year old game and pointlessly demand to be glorified for it. I know its not right but being dick about it doesnt help anything.40oz wrote:That would get my textures out of the wad but that wouldn't change anything else. Not everyone can be expected to get all credits right on their initial project post. They can be forgiven if they add the credits later. You pointed out your textures, and now you have appropriate credit. He wasn't saying "all uncredited textures are mine", in the first place.40oz wrote:That would get my textures out of the wad but that wouldn't change anything else. This is part of being a "copyright owner" - if you don't enforce your "copyright," then people assume they can get away with borrowing it. Better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission, apparently. If you don't like people using your stuff, just keep an eye on stuff and ask any "offenders" to use different textures. Of course, you can't catch everything (I'm sure there's still someone out there that's using weapons from my mods...)40oz wrote:That would get my textures out of the wad but that wouldn't change anything else.
