I'd be inclined to make a submission, but I know full well that my sprites are neither very good or particularly Doom styled.

Don't worry, as I said, patchworks and nice recolors are fine as well as using sprites from other Doom-styled games like Blake Stone, Wolfenstein 3D or other places that haven't been raped that much yet ;) By the way, great to have already that much submissions, but could one of the mods stick this?

I have tried a few of these submissions and I have some suggestions for you guys (I guess that's okay ;))

Wrack
The blue translation looks horrible ingame, I consider this more as a bug than anything else

BlackWidow
The eyes sometimes change their color from blue to yellow to blue when seen from different angles. Also, I'd suggest making the projectiles a better fitting color that fits better to the monster

Golem
The piles seem to stay forever and are not blocking the players movement so I consider this as a bug as well

okay...
in this case i remove it... i'll modify just the armor color...

Edit: Done! Now, the color translation makes his armor in a red that doesn't make your eyes bleeding...
Also i changed the sounds.. i took them from RTCW (also added credits for them)

My net's been acting up, the past two days, so I was only able to download the Chaingun Spider, thus far. It's good, but doesn't seem as powerful as it should be. Not sure how to make it more powerful without giving it the Spider Mastermind's own attack, though.

Segway Zombie's hilarious, by the way. :P

Hmm. It seems this contest isn't about horrendously overpowered boss monsters, as I originally thought. ;)

Doesn't matter, I'll submit this guy anyway. You may already be acquainted with him.

(He might also create a lot of steep framerate drops so please say if he does. My machine has 4GB of ram and handles it fairly well. :P)

Which doesn't mean that overpowered boss monsters aren't allowed ;) The larger the better :D
