Very interested in this project and might even be able to help make a map or two for it. But for now I had a idea some time ago when I first saw the thread in the Editing section: Pinky obstacles!

Idea comes from how some maps in Mario Kart has cows walking around, these would function pretty much the same, waltzing around a section of the map and potentially hindering your progress unless you steer clear of them.

Consider it done.

And MK8 is ace, hooked on it myself
Tormentor667 wrote:Well, despite the fact that other projects are still running at the moment which aren't even finished (HPack e.g.) this is so fucking interesting that I am willing to join as a mapper (Phobos Base Race 2, not sure which one yet) and graphics artist :) I am dreaming of this kind of project since I had my hands on Super Mario Kart the first time and playing around with "Zoom" years ago... this might be interesting :)
Jimmy beat you to it, I'm afraid. However, I for one would love to have you on board, and the bonus level slot for Phobos is still free. How flexible are you?

@kevansevans: The maps don't have to follow the layout of the originals exactly. Feel free to switch things up a bit.

EDIT: Okay, map roster has been updated to the first post. All claimed maps have the mapper's name beside them. Some slots are still free, so get in quick!

I think it would be fun to make a map for this project. Could I take Hangar?

scalliano there was already doing a Hangar thing.

Are you keeping a master list of who's doing what map, by the way? Because I'm not :D

EDIT: And expanding on this:

It doesn't have to be the Military Base. Any map that isn't already having a circuit made for it is free for the taking. So that master list would be quite handy ;)

Master list is spoilered in the first post. Nobody has actually claimed Hangar yet. I can put you down if you want.

EDIT: You're in.

Does anyone think or start to work to some of the sprites of the prizes yet?
If you need I can try to put something together. :)

Added.

Also, Hell Keep is up and running. I wouldn't say "finished", but we're getting there.
