I like this guy

I think in the weapons resource.wad (old) there was a bfg weapon that used the Doom3 sprites that had a spray attack that lasted for a couple of seconds. I did mention a while ago that the bfg 9000 should be chargeable but someone, can't remember, few post back said that that was not going to happen.

I already made a custom chainsaw weapon (link) that works for BD. Its secondardy fire releases a bear trap so smile away as an enemy mistakes your trap as a regular weapon. Just remember that chainsaws are melee weapons. Will not work on corpses due to potential graphic lag (although it is still possible). This is for people with chainsaw request.

Not to forget that it's being mentioned so many times before that there won't be new weapons. I fail to see the need to add new ones anyway.
But I did find it hilarious when Sergeant_Mark_IV mentioned the penetrator. :lol:

Why not just concentrating more on finding bugs than suggesting new features instead?

Alright, everybody just stop arguing about the suggestions. Sarge has already said there won't be new weapons, and he's ultimately the one that dictates whether they'll go into the main mod or not. If you want them that badly, go learn how to make them (it's not hard!).

And everybody else, quit attacking people over the suggestions. How many times have I had to come into the thread to say this? Too many. Therefore, both Cream-of-Plenty and blob84 will be receiving one administrative warning apiece, and everybody else will hopefully not follow in their footsteps.

As much as I would hope that everyone will follow this guy, In maybe less that 10-15 pages, someone will probably post another suggestion.

Anyways, I have a 4 GB memory laptop that has even better specs than my computer, can run a TON of games smothly but for some odd reason. Brutal doom occasionally lags SEVERELY with this thing. why? (happens to some other mods too, but at a lesser frequency.)

There are two causes for this:
1. Too many actors
2. Too many models

Solutions:
1. Install the "Janitor" addon
2. (skulltag and zandronum only) In the console, write "gl_use_models 0"

I notice you're using a version of the song with the cusses cut out awkwardly.

Suggestion: insert random (Brutal) Doom sound effects in those places.
