That link is to a .zip file, not the .pk3 and when I try to rename the .zip file to a .pk3 and run it, it doesn't work properly.

The Doomguy face in the center of the HUD blinks and alternates between the new sprite (tiny and in the top-left corner of the box) and the default sprite.

Does anyone have a working version?

All working perfect by my side. You don't need to rename anything - just type zdoom.exe -file R_Hud_Stuff_ZDoom_v1.zip
