Just about finished now - just needs a tiny bit more work + organizing a resource sheet.

Also should be noted that this was made 100% within the confines of the Blood palette, so it will be compatible with Blood itself or anything that uses that pallete.

I think the PSX Nightmare Imp would look fine through RenderStyle. I don't think you physically need to make it transparent in the PNG.

You don't really need to do custom sprites for PSX-style Nightmare effect. Here's how I did it for MetaDoom's Nightmare Demon.

Made an animation with Mike12's revolver. You need firefox to look at it, because chrome still doesn't support apngs.

Pulling the hammer back with the other hand because there is no cocking frame, and it doesn't look double action.
