Bouncy wrote:k. also, BTW, are there any graphics you have that aren't in this wad already that i can use for DECORATE work?

I don't really have much. I've got a few graphics pulled from other games, some of which I have used in various places, but I have very little ready for importing "as is".
A lot of the stuff I have used myself is just recoloured and hacked around stuff from Strife, Blake stone and existing wads by other people. I guess nowadays there is little point in converting Strife stuff, seeing as how Zdoom Strife support is increasingly complete and most of the stuff I have from Blake etc will soon be duplicated as part of Tormentor's project.
If memory serves, I did pull graphics out of the various build game demos on JonoF's site (
http://jonof.edgenetwk.com/build/ ). Some of them are pretty good. Never got round to using many myself and quite a few are not very Doomy, but I do think I got most of the graphics out of most of the games (after a little trickery). Of course, I'd have to track down the files again, and none of the files would have convenient names or anything...

Heh, yes I know. Problem is the plague imp has one skeletal leg and one skeletal arm (on the other side). It would look especially obvious if these started changing from left to right.
The hard part is I want to give him a close attack where he hits with one hand and then the other. So I need a full arm swing with the normal arm, and a full swing with the skeletal one too. With the id original imp sprites not being drawn from all 8 angles, even reversing them and saving them as the different angles does not give me a suitable template to work from.

I really want the cyberknight, Nurgledemon, and zombie cruiser. Those look damn cool. Also, the Electro demon doesn't look that hard to do. You'd just need to recolor the demon white and create some lightning stuff for the attack frames.

@Xaser - If someone extracts the cruiser sprites from DukeNukem and sends them to my (webmaster at tormentor667 dot de) I will try it!
But for now, one new monster, the
Lord of Heresy

Get it here:
http://home.arcor.de/tormentor667/railg ... heresy.zip (just sprites)
Suggested Attacks:
Melee attack like the Baron
Far Attack 1 like the Baron
Far Attack 2: 3 Fireballs at one time in a radius of 20°
Far Attack 3: 3 series of 2 fireballs like the Mancubus (just the green slimeballs, no fire!)

I'd be happy to do the DECORATE work of some of those...

To Enjay: The imp sprites from the Doom Alphas have all 8 rotations of imps. I highly suggest you take a look! I think they need some cleaning, but it should help.
To Tormentor: Most of those are just recolored monsters, and I'd like to stray away from using such. True, some of them like the Belphegor are just recolored, but the Belphegor is from ST. Although they're nice, I don't want to fill the wad up with recolored monsters. I do want to use the winged Baron you posted though.
To geist and Bouncy: If you'd like, go ahead and do some DECORATE for a few of these. I do most of the DECORATE work, but if you two want to lessen the load on me a bit and do a few things, go ahead. But just remember, please post the code on the thread, instead of just in the wad.

Oh, again, to Tormentor:
* Of all those monsters, I don't want to see the ones that are copy&paste of some Duke monster with a Doom monster splatted on top (nurgle demon, imp enforcer, etc).
* The fire imps are cool, but mostly just recolored. The last one, though, with all the spikes, would be wicked.
* Espi already said he won't make the imp warlock. It's too much work.
* I'd love to see the Aqua Demon, but the Doom palette doesn't have those colors, do it'd have to be green or something.
Of those you listed though, I'd LOVE to see:
* Caco 2.0
* Greater Fire Imp
* Aqua Demon
* Electro Demon
* War Knight
* Vileus (I'd rename it to Velius, which I think is a term for Satan)
* Zombie Hound
Unfortunately I'm not sure if anyone's willing to take any of these on.

I just noticed, when using MDK, the rocket launcher Zombies just disappeared instead of showing any kind of gibbing frames.
