Nice one.
Actually, I'm still looking for the skidding sounds from an obscure PS1 game Team Losi RC Racer aka Buggy in Europe. I mean the higher quality ones. The ones from the game files are in low quality (who thought adding 11k sounds in a PC game back in 1998?!).

is there anyway to make these small external harddrives not run quite as hot? i'm assuming extended usage of it being warm is bad for it.

googled around some - if it's just pretty warm most of the time it's fine and normal; if it's hot, it would probably need a coolant system

is the first Modern Warfare game worth getting? it's the only game of the COD franchise i recall hearing positive things, but i wouldn't know if it's worth getting or if i should wait for the remaster (which you apparently cannot buy by itself...)

If you're into modern heavily-scripted military shooters, and all the tropes that that sort of game brings with it, it's sort of the game that popularised a lot of that. Lot of well-made set-pieces. If you can find a cheap copy you'll get a few hours of fun out of it, provided you're not allergic to regenerating health etc.

so you're saying it's not worth buying half price on Steam (which is 10 euros here. it's nearly a decade old and still warrants that price???)

I suppose I should start dumping pictures of my living space and an upstairs garage as I begin to sort it out. Living space feels very comfortable and it's more organized than ever, with pull out containers under the bed hiding bed stuff and fun times stuff, a desk hiding DIY bed railing while it holds an ottoman carrying plushies, with plushies on top of the ottoman, a bed, a computer desk, spare collapsible table for all my fiance's random stuff like computer and food bowls (it was meant for stuff I wanted to work on, but whatever) and I finally figured out a place for this damn rocking chair I didn't want in this room. It now sits comfortably next to the big bed we sleep on at night so I can get to the closet in the room. Next I thought about adding a pegboard to the wall next to the entrance door so I can install hangers for stuff, like my belts (because IM BATMAN and I have to have a belt that holds everything in my life ever as well as minimalist belts so I don't look like a nerd or at least as much of a nerd when I'm out in social gatherings) and possibly some additional clothing since the door's already full of hangars. I could use a container on the opposite side of my computer since right now there's a ton of unused empty space, and the garage upstairs still needs additional sweeping and some de-wasping to make it livable as well as a bunch of old TVs need to be carried out and dropped off.
Come to think of it, I'll post this in WDYLD until I have pictures that actually show what I'm working on.

Nah - this is what I tend to do to people who decide they're "leaving forever." The moral of the story is that if you're planning on taking a break from ZDoom, don't burn your bridges.
