You don't. Weapon sprites are supposed to be single-point perspective, you've got two... sort of. Eriance wrote up and illustrated this pretty well and although the forum post is riddled with ads due to dead images, Kappes Buur had a copy saved for us.
I tried to lay down some perspective lines on your drawing and there are a lot of inconsistencies. You'll run into less problems if you lay down a single vanishing point and perspective lines after doing a rough sketch before you get into details.

Perhaps a better place for this would be the spriting carnival, a lot of people with an interest in spriting go there and you'll collect more insight.
New desert eagle in the works!
I used this as a reference image.
Spoiler:
Torridgristle made some fine technical points, but i'm not sure if it will make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things to force the perspective to be perfect.
I COULD make it more narrow so it more or less comes to a finer point, but i think it'd lose some of its oomph. Even as i look at his example (thanks again!), I'm liking mine better.
as seen, my gun has a more distorted field of vision (FOV) than reality, so its bigger and meaner looking. So my question is.... Does my gun LOOK better, or does the more accurate FOV look better? Sure, it might be a little off center as you move it closer to the screen, but really, at 150x175 pixels i really doubt how this will make a huge difference.
To me, it seems within acceptable limits, but IDK. any feedback would be appreciated.

Correct perspective and closer FOV aren't mutually exclusive, you've seen it in every 3D videogame with the gun held right against the camera. Despite being large, everything has a vanishing point.

First time posting :3
I'm working on a mod that I always wanted to do myself, just a little bit of tweaking and some additions to the co-op mode... I wanted reload frames for the pistol and some 'better' classic doom weapons overall... Here's the first of those.
Really cheap and nasty but it works and works well in the game
Anyone can use this for whatever they please, modify it or whatever, I believe in sharing and pooling resources.

Only issue I see is that it kinda looks like something nibbled off his finger tips.

Haha, yeah. Luckily thanks to how the engine renders it, you don't see those missing finger tips Definitely going to rework it later and add a few new details.

it shoots shockwaves, coming from the cassette tapes. you know why? because music is the weapon.
