Re: The WIP Thread
Updated my SweetFX and RetroArch shaders to have a slightly more dither-like dither but it still sucks dither.
Re: The WIP Thread

Dopefish voxel work in progress, i'll put the burp and crunch sound later, release later too

It's my first voxel ever made so don't scream at me that it looks bad

Re: The WIP Thread
Ding ding ding. Yup, the idea of the map was to recreate E1M1 of Heretic in Doom, using only Doom 1 textures.Ethril wrote:Heretic's E1M1 immediately came to mind. Was that intentional?Mikk- wrote:Just something I'm working on, haven't mapped properly in a whileSpoiler:

Re: The WIP Thread

Maybe I should give up and actually do some real ordered dithering, but doing that in a pixel shader seems like a brainsplode

Strife continues, so far all I have is a courtyard and some pretty rooms. Here is one of them:

Ordered dithering in pixel shaders is not a big deal, really.

Their size and stupidity might be the only thing keeping them from destroying all aquatic life. Of course, humans would most likely try to hunt the dumb things to extinction.Captain J wrote:dope fishes in a mother nature, oh please make it really happen and let them ruin the mother nature.

I recommend bandicam.

But humans were the dopefish all along.NeuralStunner wrote:Of course, humans would most likely try to hunt the dumb things to extinction.
Re: The WIP Thread
FFSplit and OBS (oh hey a video) seem like mostly the same thing - which is pretty good screen capture software.Breezeep wrote:The Zombie Killer wrote:

Although since they're both meant for streaming (and good) they use x264 for encoding the video, which means that they're primarily lossy.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing however - as that means that you can easily adjust it according to how much your storage device can take. (Which is lower for system drives as they're usually running all the things.)
Both also have quality presets that you can change to affect the quality at the given bitrate in exchange for higher CPU requirements.

Re: The WIP Thread
Out of FFSplit and OBS, which would you recommend the most?
Re: The WIP Thread
They seem like more or less the same thing, so I'd recommend FFSplit just because the guys over at their IRC are quite responsive to whatever it is you ask them.
