that seems to be the problem with Deathsong's and my project. We've got material but we can't get some worthy screenies. :?

Deathsong12: I posted in your forums...

EDIT: Nevermind, I'll just post it here.
On your obivously dead forums I wrote wrote: Hey, I was wondering if your still accepting roles for Woe Without End? I got my sprite right here.

Much to adress!

1: Yes, Marty, I'm actually quite desperate for people wih sprites who want to be in this. Remember, it's set in 1932! If you have rotations for that sprite, expect to show up on a street somewhere. If not, you can keep a shop.

2: Y'all want a screenshot so bad...

Oh jesus lord, ever heard of fixing palettes?
Also, it'd be nice to see more than just the inside of an igloo.

Yup. It's not pretty. It's my test map, using one of the default Hexen weapons under Blood's palette. In short, we're not quite at the stage where screenshots would be useful.

He's got a map, what he probably wants to do is retexture it and redo the whole thing deal. (Try reading the previous page).

Astonishing.

This is why people should learn *not* to talk on their projects until they got

To be honest, I just wanted to be honest with you Deathsong12. In my eyes you boast yourself with this project of yours like there's no tomorrow. For my project I have attended a drawing AND music classes and still no one knows jack damn about it, despite that I could post a screenshot I find quite satisfactoring. Or two.

To put it all with some ironic icing, now my real life has definitely changed, to the good extreme, I seem to lack any will to work on my project :) lol

Not the case if you intend to be recruiting, as the planning and concept should be a good enough motivation for a mapper or artist to contribute. Worked with ZDCMP and KDiZD, you may have noticed, and is currently working with Arctic Wolf remake.

Umm. All of these don't compare to WWE. Deathsong hyped this thing almost as much as KDiZD was hyped back in the day, and a few months later he still has nothing to show for it, except for a ton of text. He also plugged his project whenever it was possible all over the forums.

And now the quality of that screenshot makes it an 'Eat this and STFU' type remark.

I think that is indeed what it was.

Still, we know he's been getting a lot of resources and stuff.

Glad to know someone thinks like my humble self.

Really, I just wanted to be honest, no offense/agressivness intended. The fact truth often hurts is a different manner, though.

Lots of resources but no maps means lots of planks but no mansion.
Hyped project but nothing to show.
This is worse than the dotcom stuff in the late 1990's.

Yeah, it's pretty bad. I was hoping to have a lot of time to work on this project back when I was plugging it, because I didn't yet know how badly RL can be a bitch to this sort of thing, and my time just ran out. I also failed to create a coherent plot and world, which was supposed to be my job. WWE, as I was plugging it, and as documented in most of this thread, is dead, and I am sorry for over-hyping it. However, I am still using the name for something much better. Aside from minor progress reports, I have no intent of talking about it anywhere. I don't have the talent to draw, model, or compose music, (and boy have I tried...) so I have to work with what I have. That amounts to a nice set of Blood and Powerslave rips, a talent for storywriting, and vision of what I want my gameplay to be like. I don't claim to have anything more than that.
