Thanks to all for you good words.
Wildweasel - I'm glad that you could play this because I know you've been waiting for this since the beginning (I'm noticed that people with more modern GPU don't have any problem with this).
Enjay - to shame thats you can't play with monsters (maybe dynamic lights of projectile-fireballs is one of the reason), also you've been waiting for this 3 years.
But I'm glad thats everyone enjoy the atmosphere. I'm try to upload this on idgames archive, but my file have 130mb, so I don't know if I can.

cq75 - I'm make Crysis version of this map and its looks fantastic. Doom3 can't compilate thats huge areas.

You can upload it if you contact the archive maintainer first and say why it's so big etc.

No, the reason is I have damaged my left arm and have been told to avoid using it for repetitive tasks - which means using a mouse is out (I'm left handed). So, I have to keep my gaming sessions short and do it with reversed controls. Because of that, I look up when I want to look down, strafe left when I want to strafe right etc etc and I just end up getting pwned even on the easiest settings. So, if I'd played with monsters I wouldn't have got very far at all. I'm fairly sure that my computer would handle it though.

Fuck, it still doesn't want to run. :( Oh well, with this shitty hardware I'm not surprised...

I think you mixed up me and Enjay, Reinchard2. Maybe I'll try turning off the dynamic lights, that's not a bad idea :)

EDIT - Is there a way to turn it off only on projectiles?

Heh, it is a pretty demanding wad. I'm running it on a rig that can max out Crysis and I still had a few drops in framerate.

Heh, I can run it just fine without framerate drops... until the monsters wake up. Kind of like the Nuts series.
I decided to load it up with nomonsters enabled just to take a look around, and I liked what I saw. That made me get stuck at one point, though.

That's what I thought.
Oh well, it's still fun to explore.

(also it IS possible to escape; i'll be right back with a screenshot)

edit: Here's the spot that allows you to get out. (SPOILERS!)

I would leave it as it is. What I really hate is when map designers strictly punish players for breaking supposed path. Reason why I stopped playing Painkiller. Such shortcuts can really enchance the gameplay, I really like to find them.

Did anyone tried deathmatch on this map?
