Except this time it was actually a reputably excellent product utterly failing on me. ;-;
Absolute worst case at least I still have two cool fans that were meant to be mounted on the heatsink and some very nice thermal paste out of the entire ordeal.
Best case I get a fucking replacement that actually fucking works jesus christ.

It does, doesn't it? I never really thought of that till you mentioned that. Thanks for the compliment, Raymoohawk. It's nice be acknowledge by someone you admire for their work (cause your FreeDOOM sprites are awesome).
I'll be doing the entire character eventually, but that'll be a while. Thanks man!

also Devianteist, this creature seems to fit well for a Galactus-tier monster (not best example but i mean the Galactus from the movie), it looks like a spacial worm that eats planets.

so has anyone here gotten Hogs of War off of GOG and had problems running it? half the time i run the game, it freezes Windows Explorer, making me have to shut it down, and then restart it again to be able to click anything, or if i can't access the task manager, sign out from my account (faster than rebooting the computer, and solves the problem thankfully.) there's no updates for the game on GOG and i can't seem to find any information on this problem either... i had to get an ISO of my PSX game of it, which thankfully worked despite the scratches it had, in order to actually play it as the PC version just didn't wanna cooperate.

You're not far off when it comes to that, actually. Though, Kajt doesn't eat planets, his master does. He simply purifies them so his master can eat them.

It looks like a weird prop fit for a desert in a bizarre alien world (what is a desert without the characteristic buffalo skulls lying around), but I'm not really seeing much more to it.

My sculpture? You'd see more if I were to sculpt the torso. An older version of it can be found
here. Despite being an older version, there aren't many differences between it and the one who's head I've posted in the thread.

I am increasingly regretting ever getting involved in LGBTQI politics.

I stay the hell out of any and all politics. Especially since I am completely lacking in the ability in articulating my point.

It seemed like a good idea at the time---I came of age in the post-9/11 South and sticking close to like-minded people was a simple, commonsense safety measure, given that I thought the outrage against Muslim civilians in the U.S. was way against proper protocol, due process, etc. and knew some people wouldn't take this for an answer.
The problem is that what I wanted to do for them and what they wanted done for them have grown increasingly distant.
I wanted to handle more logistical/practical problems---taking legal action against hate crime/hate speech, shelters for runaway youth, AIDS, generally dealing with problems that could be quantified somehow. Even if I never got paid for my work, at least I'd be able to measure whether results were achieved.
The LGBTQI movement---or at least some of the loudest voices inside it at the moment---apparently wants to talk about feelings and inclusion and sensitivity and all sorts of feel-nice rhetoric that doesn't really mean anything to me given the infighting I've seen in the movement. If they can't make it crystal fucking clear what they want out of me I can't give it to them even if I wanted to.
As someone who used to consider himself a cis/straight ally this pisses me off as it's like they expect me to work for free with inconsistent/unexplained rules and mediate between factions that shouldn't be stabbing each other in the back in the first place (and yet the political left loooooves to paint the LGBTQI community as one big happy victimized family with no internal enemies).

Yeah. IIRC it's supposed to encompass the group of people that are somewhere "in-between" but not to the extent that they could be considered transfolk.
There's talk of completely changing the acronym to DSG---Diverse Gender and Sexuality. I'm all for this as the current acronym is suffering the alphabet soup version of software bloat/feature creep.

What does that movement actually try to achieve? Gay/Lesbian Marriage and rights for adoption are the only things I can think of.
